Definition of drop off

Drop-Off is where you the owner, transport the van to the hirer's location. This can be an agreed location - mostly holiday parks etc. You can set your own relocation fee for each "Drop-Off" type booking.

Think about how far you are willing to travel, and how long it will take you to set up the van.

We recommend 75c - $1 per km.

You are able to charge the hirer for driving it there and picking it up, that's 2 of the 4 trips that you will complete. We ask you to chalk the other two trips up to the cost of the business, as you are not towing a vehicle.

Generally, we recommend that you charge 75c- $1 amount per kilometre that you have to travel.

Example:

Drop-off 50kms away

x charge $1 per km

= Relocation Fee of $100.

You can also add a "Set up fee". Many owners charge this through "Extra products" as it's not always necessary. Others include it in the Relocation Fee.

You must discuss it with the Hirer for each booking.
