Yes, Hirers can reduce their Accident Excess.


Accidents can happen to even the most careful drivers. Whilst the vehicle is in the hirer's care they are responsible for any damage, this includes damage caused by events they can’t control, such as hailstorms, or the vehicle being hit while parked.


Before the start of the trip, hirers have the option to decrease the excess required to pay out in the event of damage.

Bookings are automatically allocated the "Risk Taker" Accident Excess Reduction (AER) package, which has Limited inclusions and an excess between $500-$4,500 per incident depending on the type of RV and holiday. Hirers then have the option to upgrade to to our "Happy Camper" AER package, providing Camplify Hirers with a large range of inclusions and a max excess per event of $500 depending on your hire type (drive, tow, deliver) 


You will be able to reduce your excess in one of three ways;

1 - you are able to select your preferred AER package upon proceeding to make your payment for hire. 

2 - by following the prompts from within your booking request any time after a payment has been made
3 - By contacting Camplify staff to manually apply to your booking.
