It's not acceptable for bookings to made off the platform or for payments to be made offline, as we will not be able to ensure the safety of your transaction or provide appropriate damage cover.
For Owners:
As an owner on Camplify, it is important that you use the system and payment gateway to complete all hires. By paying through the system and completing the Pre-hire and Post-hire checklists on Camplify we make sure you are protected and covered should anything go wrong.
We retain all records of conversations between you and the hirer on our platform and all documentation completed during the checklist phases.
During the payment process, Camplify also collects the customer's details for their selected AER. If payment does not occur through the system we can not collect the customer's payment details for the AER.
If you do not use the system and payment does not occur online we can not assist you if you need to report a damage incident.
Camplify also provides roadside assistance while your van is on hire nationwide through our partnership with the NRMA. This is provided for free for all hires that are completed and paid through the system.
For Hirers:
As a hirer we want to ensure that you can feel rest assured your hire will go ahead as smoothly as possible.
If payment is not made through the platform your booking will not be protected by our terms and conditions as a booking is only confirmed in our system after we have received payment through the platform and it has reflected in your booking.
Without this we will be unable to provide you with road side assistance if you breakdown, accidents, damage or disputed between you and the owner.
Additionally in the event of a cancellation we will be unable to assist with a rebooking or reimbursement as we have not received the funds.
In short it is in your best interest as a hirer to make payment through the platform, if an owner asks for payment direct please contact our support team on 1300 416 133 and we can work with you to find a suitable resolve.
